8. Air travel shall be timed from the time <strong>of</strong> baggage call until arrival at<br />

destination hotel and is to include all waiting time at terminals as well as limousine transit time<br />

at both ends <strong>of</strong> the flight and the same applies returning to city <strong>of</strong> origination and including all<br />

delays at terminals, limousine transport, etc.<br />

The Employer will not be responsible for payment <strong>of</strong> the overtime travel penalty<br />

contained in this paragraph if the excess travel time was due to inclement weather, mechanical<br />

failure, or delay in departure or landing <strong>of</strong> the aircraft over which the Employer has no control.<br />

Baggage call may be prior to 8:00 AM without penalty.<br />

10. GUARANTEED EMPLOYMENT<br />

1. Rehearsals in City <strong>of</strong> Origination - When <strong>Artists</strong> under Guaranteed<br />

Employment contracts have commenced rehearsals, any Rehearsal Weeks in the City <strong>of</strong><br />

Origination at any time subsequent thereto shall include all such <strong>Artists</strong> who have already<br />

commenced rehearsals.<br />

2. <strong>Artists</strong> shall be guaranteed six (6) weeks <strong>of</strong>f-time within each contracted<br />

year. The Employer will guarantee one (1) 3-consecutive week <strong>of</strong>f period following a New York<br />

season <strong>of</strong> 4 weeks or more. The Employer shall have the right to request a waiver <strong>of</strong> this<br />

guaranteed period, which shall not be unreasonably denied. There shall be at least one (1) week<br />

<strong>of</strong> rehearsal prior to commencement <strong>of</strong> a domestic tour.<br />

11. SINGLE PERFORMANCE<br />

1. In the event the Employer contemplates engaging <strong>Artists</strong> on a single<br />

performance basis, the Employer shall so notify AGMA.<br />

2. All <strong>Artists</strong>, on a single performance basis, shall be paid not less than Two<br />

hundred eighty ($280.00) Dollars for each single performance in the City <strong>of</strong> Origination. If the<br />

Artist is required to perform outside the City <strong>of</strong> Origination the Employer will provide the Artist<br />

with a hotel room, explained under Accommodations Section 9.A.1. <strong>of</strong> this Agreement, plus<br />

standard meal money allowance.<br />

3. Guarantee <strong>of</strong> Rehearsal Hours – All <strong>Artists</strong> engaged shall be guaranteed<br />

not less than ten (10) paid rehearsal hours to be paid for at the rate <strong>of</strong> Seventy-five ($75.00)<br />

Dollars per hour. No free hours <strong>of</strong> rehearsal shall be permitted.<br />

12. RUN-OUTS<br />

When an Artist is required to perform more than fifty (50) miles beyond the central point<br />

<strong>of</strong> departure, but is not required to stay overnight, the Employer shall compensate the Artist with<br />

the appropriate meal allowance as set forth in 13.G. Employer will provide transportation to and<br />

from such performance or an equivalent allowance for transportation.<br />
