while traveling after midnight, there must be an eight (8) hour rest period for sleeping, after<br />

arrival at destination, prior to any next call. Employer shall make best efforts not to schedule<br />

transportation between the hours <strong>of</strong> midnight and 9:00 A.M. on the morning following an<br />

evening performance.<br />

AGMA agrees that it shall waive the provisions <strong>of</strong> this sub-paragraph provided<br />

that the Employer submits to AGMA, two (2) weeks prior to any contemplated travel during the<br />

hours circumscribed in the above paragraph, a schedule <strong>of</strong> public transportation which proves<br />

that there is no available transport which leaving after 8:00 A.M. or arriving before midnight<br />

would fulfill all the customary conditions <strong>of</strong> travel by the Employer. The Employer shall not<br />

infringe upon the allotted free time after a travel call.<br />

9. Travel Overtime Rates - The Travel Overtime shall be the hourly rate <strong>of</strong><br />

$30.00 payable in one-half (1/2) hour increments.<br />

10. Theater Cases, see Section 9.A.6. It is agreed that Employer will pay all<br />

costs incurred when theater cases must be carried on the plane with <strong>Artists</strong> and will not be<br />

counted toward the Artist’s individual baggage allotment.<br />

11. Transportation Reimbursement - Employer agrees to reimburse each Artist<br />

for taxi fare to Artist’s residence following any required service ending after 11:00 PM,<br />

including but not limited to performance, run-outs, rehearsal, late flight arrival, etc., a total<br />

amount not to exceed Three hundred fifty ($350) Dollars a year per artist. <strong>Artists</strong> will make best<br />

efforts to share transportation.<br />

12. If an Artist is required to perform on the same day following travel outside<br />

the City <strong>of</strong> Origination no rehearsal is permitted, except in the event <strong>of</strong> Emergency Rehearsal.<br />

B. RAILROAD TRAVEL, CONDITIONS OF<br />

1. Pullman Berth to be provided - In the event that railroad transportation or<br />

any part there<strong>of</strong> shall take place between the hours <strong>of</strong> midnight and 8:00 A.M., the Employer<br />

shall provide an individual Pullman lower berth for the <strong>Artists</strong>. Where the circumstances set<br />

forth in the preceding sentence do not occur, then the Artist shall receive the difference in money<br />

between the fare actually paid by the Employer for the Artist and the cost <strong>of</strong> such individual<br />

Pullman sleeping lower berth.<br />

2. Coach Seats - The Employer shall make every effort to assure each Artist<br />

regular seating facilities in any train where such transportation is by coach service.<br />
