2. There will be a one-half hour, 15 min, 10 min, 5 min and an on stage call<br />
preceding each act <strong>of</strong> dance. All <strong>Artists</strong> performing in that act <strong>of</strong> dance must be on stage to hear<br />
the on stage call.<br />
3. No rehearsals, walk-throughs, stagings, or spacing, will occur during any<br />
intermission unless requested by an Artist or in an emergency situation.<br />
K. MATINEE PERFORMANCES<br />
Unless AGMA has been previously notified the Employer agrees that there shall<br />
be a minimum period <strong>of</strong> three (3) hours intervening between the conclusion <strong>of</strong> any matinee<br />
performance and the commencement <strong>of</strong> the evening performance during which period the Artist<br />
may not be required to rehearse, travel and/or perform. However, there may be a two and<br />
one-half (2-1/2) hour time span between performances during New York City seasons. Best<br />
efforts will be made to give each Artist at least one performance <strong>of</strong>f during each<br />
four-performance weekend; or each Artist will be scheduled to perform no more than one (1)<br />
dance piece in one performance during such four-performance weekend.<br />
9. ON TOUR<br />
A. TRANSPORTATION - GENERAL PROVISIONS<br />
1. Accommodations- Hotels and Suites - The Employer agrees to provide<br />
and pay for hotel rooms, including taxes for all <strong>Artists</strong>, on double occupancy basis. The<br />
Employer will provide five (5) single rooms for the five (5) most senior members <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Company for domestic and international tours. It is understood that double occupancy means<br />
that if two (2) unmarried <strong>Artists</strong> are sharing the room two (2) separate beds must be provided or<br />
single rooms will be provided for said <strong>Artists</strong>. <strong>Artists</strong> will be responsible for the payment <strong>of</strong> all<br />
hotel costs beyond the basic room rate and taxes. etc.<br />
Employer will provide <strong>Artists</strong> with hotel information three (3) weeks prior to tour.<br />
With regard to a United States tour, any Artist who notifies the Employer at least two weeks in<br />
advance <strong>of</strong> the stay that the Artist will be opting out <strong>of</strong> the Employer-provided hotel<br />
arrangements shall receive the cash equivalency in an amount equal to one-half (1/2) <strong>of</strong> the<br />
double-room rate plus taxes in the designated hotel, in addition to the meal allowance.<br />
For overseas tours when a presenter provides and pays the hotel, five (5) single<br />
rooms will be available for the five (5) most senior members <strong>of</strong> the Company. An Artist who<br />
does not wish to stay in the designated hotel(s) will not receive the above mentioned cash<br />
equivalency.<br />
For domestic tours, the Employer will secure at least three star accommodations<br />
that provide secure access to and from individual rooms (i.e., rooms that open to a hallway or<br />
interior courtyard, not directly to the street or a parking lot). The Employer will make best<br />
efforts to obtain, but will not guarantee accommodations providing 24-hour room service and<br />
22
