H. MINI-PERFORMANCES<br />
Will be defined as follows: a performance not to exceed 75 minutes in length and<br />
to contain no more than 60 minutes <strong>of</strong> dancing. Dancers must have 15 minutes between<br />
appearances in different works. It is agreed that a Mini-Performance is ½ <strong>of</strong> a performance, or 2<br />
hours, and further that 2 Mini-Performances equal one (1) regular performance. Dancers<br />
performing in both ballets, will receive ½ hour overtime for 15 minutes quick change<br />
infringement. Dancers will be paid three-fourths (3/4) <strong>of</strong> one-sixth (1/6) <strong>of</strong> their weekly salary<br />
for each Mini-Performance where there are more than seven performances in a week.<br />
There is no limit to the number <strong>of</strong> Mini-Performances that can be held in one<br />
week except that Dancers are not to work in excess <strong>of</strong> 30 hours per week. On days when there is<br />
one Mini-Performance and one regular performance there may be one (1) hour <strong>of</strong> rehearsal. On<br />
days when there are two (2) Mini-Performances, two (2) hours <strong>of</strong> rehearsal may be scheduled<br />
providing there is no performance or other services scheduled on that day. There shall be not<br />
less than 30 minutes between the conclusion <strong>of</strong> a Mini-Performance and the first rehearsal or a<br />
half hour (1/2) call.<br />
Mini-Performances will be scheduled no earlier than 10:30 a.m. Employer will<br />
assure that warm-up space will be available to Artist for one (1) uninterrupted hour prior to any<br />
Mini-Performance. In the event that the Employer must schedule the mini before 10:30 a.m., the<br />
dancers will receive penalty pay for Mini-Performances which begin before 10:30 a.m. This<br />
penalty pay shall be paid in addition to penalty pay for infringement <strong>of</strong> turnover time, if<br />
applicable.<br />
I. CLOSING TIME OF PERFORMANCE<br />
1. The Employer agrees that in the event a performance shall be concluded<br />
after 11:30 P.M. or if the performance exceeds three (3) hours in length from Curtain Time, each<br />
Artist shall be compensated at the rate <strong>of</strong> one-half the hourly Overtime Rate for each half-hour or<br />
fraction there<strong>of</strong> during which the Artist is required to perform after 11:30 P.M. or in excess <strong>of</strong><br />
three (3) hours from seven (7) minutes past advertised Curtain Time or the beginning <strong>of</strong> the<br />
music <strong>of</strong> the first (1st) dance piece whichever occurs first. However, if the conclusion <strong>of</strong> the<br />
performance was delayed by circumstances as outlined in Section 19.G (Force Majeure or<br />
similar circumstances), the Employer shall not be liable for the compensation outlined above.<br />
J. INTERMISSIONS/INTERVALS<br />
1. The Employer agrees that there shall be a fifteen (15) minute intermission<br />
between dance pieces and/or acts <strong>of</strong> dance pieces which require a change <strong>of</strong> costume and/or<br />
make-up by <strong>Artists</strong> appearing in both dance pieces or both acts <strong>of</strong> the same dance piece.<br />
Intermission/interval time shall begin from the time <strong>of</strong> final curtain following the end <strong>of</strong> curtain<br />
calls; any violations shall be paid one-half (1/2) hour overtime.<br />
