NOTIFICATION<br />

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to declare that all <strong>Government</strong> Offices/<strong>Government</strong><br />

Undertakings, Boards <strong>and</strong> other Institutions under the control <strong>of</strong> <strong>Government</strong> <strong>of</strong> Puducherry <strong>and</strong> all Banking<br />

Institutions including Co-operative Banks in the Union territory <strong>of</strong> Puducherry shall be closed on the days specified<br />

in the notification in Appendix–I <strong>and</strong> Appendix–II respectively during the calendar year 2011.<br />

2. In addition to the above closed holidays, the Lieutenant-Governor is also pleased to permit each<br />

<strong>Government</strong> servant to avail any 2 (two) holidays to be chosen by him/her out <strong>of</strong> the list <strong>of</strong> Restricted Holidays in<br />

Appendix–III.<br />

3. No substitute holidays shall be allowed on any event for the festival holiday initially declared.<br />
