in CoC certification that do not inclusively concern an applicant and certification body.

procedures for dispute settlement for all grievances between the applicant and the
certification body? (Annex 3, 6.2)
UFCS documentation (refer to SD03, Section 5(v) and Section 13) requires the accredited
certification body to have “policies and procedures for resolution of claims, disputes and
litigation received by any interested party (includes applicant) in the certification”.

52) Does the scheme documentation require that the relevant accreditation body, whose
accreditation covers the certification, deals with disputes and complaints concerning
observance of the accreditation requirements? (Annex 3, 6.2)
UFCS documentation (refer to SD03, Section 13) requires the accredited certification body to
“take proper corrective and preventative actions” in relation to accreditation requirements and
maintain required registers of actions taken.

4.4 Overall Assessment
The implementation processes for UFCS do not meet PEFCC requirements due to nonconformity
associated with the requirement that summaries of forest management plans are
made publically available.
The UFCS is assessed as meeting all other implementation process requirements for forest
certification and chain of custody certification.
