The PLASTICOLOR neckpiece (2) is mounted 

between the production machine (1) and the 

main hopper (5). 

The PLASTICOLOR screw (4) meters the ad- 

ditive into the main material stream passing 

through the neckpiece (2). 

The short distance between dosing and actual 

processing eliminates any risk of material separation.

THE ADVANTAGES OF THE PLASTICOLOR DOSING UNITS 

QUICK ACTING CLOSURES 

Practical quick acting closures allow a trouble-free “swinging 

away” of the motor assembly. Screw/cylinder assembly 

change overs can be made in a quick and easy way.

QUICK-DISCHARGE ASSEMBLY (PNEUMATIC) - - - 

The dosing units are provided with a quick-discharge 

assembly. It takes only a short while to empty the unit and to 

clean it. Changes of material or colour can now be effected 

even faster. 

NECKPIECE SLIDE (MANUEL) - 

NECKPIECE SLIDE (PNEUMATIC) - 

• Serving to close the units reliably against the neckpiece. 

• Neckpiece slides enable to perform quantity tests. 

• The units can be filled and emptied during production.

• Allow for screw and cylinder change-overs without the 

need to empty the hopper. 

• The removable hopper slide even enables a full hopper 

to be lifted off easily and to be replaced with another.

for the neckpiece, to ensure dosing into the main material 

stream without counterpressure. 

LEVEL SENSORS 

For level control in the hopper or the neckpiece.
