Un Mecánico estaba arreglando un motor,
cuando vio a un reconocido cirujano del corazón
llegar al lugar. El Mecánico le gritó al cirujano:
-Hey Doctor, ¿Puede venir hacia acá
que le quiero hacer una pregunta?
El cirujano, un poco sorprendido, caminó hacia
el Mecánico. Éste, limpiándose la grasa de sus
manos con una toalla, le lanzó la siguiente pregunta:
-Vea Doctor, échele una mirada a este motor.
¿No entiende mucho verdad? Le abrí su corazón,
le saqué las válvulas, las arreglé, las volví a
instalar y, cuando terminé, el motor funcionó
como nuevo. No cualquiera puede hacer este
trabajo, se necesita ser muy bueno.
¿Usted podría haberlo hecho?
-No, realmente no, es un trabajo muy arduo
que requiere gran conocimiento.
-¿Lo ve? ¿Cuán importante es un auto
para usted doctor?
-Sumamente importante, la vida de mucha
gente depende de que llegue a tiempo a la
operación, y para eso siempre uso mi auto.
-¿Se da cuenta? ¡El auto es fundamental y yo
sé cómo arreglarlo! Entonces, ¿Por qué yo recibo
un salario pequeño mientras que usted obtiene
un montón de dinero, cuando ambos hacemos
básicamente el mismo trabajo? El cirujano
pensativo, se inclinó pausadamente sobre
el mecánico y le dijo, casi susurrándole al oído:"
“Trata de hacerlo con el motor en marcha".
A todos Dios, nos regala dones, pero no debemos
compararlos ya que todos son valiosos y necesarios.

A mechanic was fixing an engine, when I saw a
renowned heart surgeon get there. The mechanic
shouted to the surgeon: Hey Doctor, Can you come
over here I want to ask you a question?
The surgeon, a bit surprised, walked over to the
mechanic. Him, wiping grease from his hands with
a towel, gave him the following question:
-See Doctor, take a look at this engine. You do not
really understand much? I opened the heart, pulled
the valves, managed the re-installed, and when I
finished, the engine ran like new. Not everyone can
do this job, you need to be very good. Could you
have done it? No, not really , it is a very hard job
that requires great knowledge.
-¿You See? How important is a car for you doctor?
-Extremely Importantly, the lives of many
people depend on me to be on time for the
operation, and for that I always use my car. Do you
realize it? The car is essential and I know how to fix
it! So, why do I receive a small salary while you get a
lot of money, when both do basically the same work?
The thoughtful surgeon slowly leaned over and
told the mechanic, almost whispering in his ear:
"Try doing it with the engine running."
God gives us all gifts, but we should not compare
them because they are all valuable and necessary.
