Yesenia Flores, Tells us: I
did not have a normal
childhood because I spent it
moving from town to town,
flying was normal for me
and being in my house was
a luxury. My adolescence
was as unusual; at the age of 9 it was
when I recorded the song La Nina de la
Mochila Azul, so my younger years were
spent working most of the time. To me
it was normal, and I have always been
grateful to the public for the love they
have given me. I participated in several
films, recorded two albums in my
childhood, two in my youth. Now as
Yesenia Flores I have accumulated
more than 15 productions. Yesenia,
descended from a family of artists
which include names like Mike Laure
and His Comets (Uncle) and Chelo
"The country voice of Mexico (Mom)
among others, with the hereditary
talent she was born in Mexico, a legacy
debuted August 7th in the world of
entertainment at 4 years of age in the
band of her parents Chelo y su
Conjunto, Yeni. At age 6 she recorded
her first album, this being widely
accepted by adults and children,
receiving awards for high sales
1,000,000 copies of songs like "Yo soy
la de la mochila azul" and a theme that
became classic in which she plays the
cello with her mother, entitled "a la
Orilla de un Palmar" She tells us:
I started working with my mom as a
young girl, singing as a backup vocalist
in her Chelo group and conjunto (Yeni).
She was nominated as juvenile
revelation at the time. She was
nominated several times by Premios
Billboard, Premios Lo Nuestro, the El
Globo de Oro among others, her
greatest award is the love of her loyal
fans that have supported her
throughout her career, winner of many
platinum discs with over 2,000,000
copies sold Yesenia Flores can not fail
to please her audience with the themes
that have made her famous topics such
as: Arráncame a puños, Llorando a
mares, Déjame Llorar, Prenda del Alma,
she certainly won the audience with this
gift that God has given her to sing excellently.
She comments: I had to be in
open middle school, high school I could
not complete it until I was older.
As I was traveling all week it was a little
difficult to go to a school like a regular
student. On Tuesday or Wednesday I
would work on homework and
sometimes towards the end of the
month I would turn everything in.
Having not studied was hard but as an
adult I received various diplomas and
was able to feel at peace with that area
of my life. Since I never went to school
like everyone else, I was never really
good at any material. What I liked most
was math and I am very bad at
Geography.
Today I am dedicated to evangelism;
I have over 6 years with my ministry of
praise, taking the word of God where
He permits. I am also dedicated to my
family; I have three children and have
been married for 25 years. That part of
my life is what I have enjoyed most.
Working for God has been wonderful,
and while sometimes the road is hard,
I would love to become a
saint as we all have that
calling and I think one of
the best ways to honor the
love God has for us.

widely accepted.

After an illness, Yesenia decided to take
her Catholic testimony anywhere that
she is permitted, and singing
praises such as Un dia a la vez, Cien
ovejas, Que detalle, Y la mortaja,
among many, recorded in 4 different
discs. Yesenia is presented in praising
concerts, Prayer Groups and
Conferences bringing their music
ministry for the glory of God. Without
forgetting about her country music,
which has given her so much
satisfaction, for now she is making her
way into the mountain that will take her
up to God. Also at the moment with her
radio on Guadalupe Radio, 87.7 fm,
Yesenia proved to the world that all
kinds of people are the peace that only
the Holy Spirit can give. With happy
testimonials, happy afternoons on
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to
5:30 pm.Yesenia Flores continues her
dream of singing and lead the world
with her Mexican music along with her
praises. Very proud of her culture,
which is why she included horses in her
show, being one of the few artists to
sing while horseback riding getting sold
out in all her presentations, making the
audience have fun, because Yesenia
Flores strives to keep presenting a
family show completely different and
original.
Always accompanied by her family,
Yesenia is now on the side of involving
her children Michelle and Juan Manuel
in country music as in her praises this
takes the example of how in a
God-fearing family, all is possible.
Yesenia Flores says: the biggest
obstacles in my life have been my own
limitations, not realizing that God has
me living for something bigger. I think
when we realize that everything is
possible. It motivates me to love God,
my husband, my children, and the love
people have always given me. In my life
and in my career I have had many
people to whom I owe much to and
admire. God is always first, my mom for
letting me spend time with her and
giving me the opportunity to be a
singer, my husband for always
supporting me, my coworkers who
always instilled in me values, my
children, for knowing how to be happy
even in difficulties and you, who are
reading, because your stories may be
worse because you are fighting, and
because you have relied on someone
like me. Yesenia Flores besides giving
her life and heart to God is beautiful
and talented. She is considered one of
the foremost interpreters of country
music internationally not only for her
music but also has been named "The
Queen of the rodeo" and which has her
own equestrian show up singing while
horseback riding and making her
horses dance to the rhythm of mariachi
and band. Finally we asked Yesenia
Flores’ advice to the community and
she said: The only advice I could give is
to accept Jesus Christ as your only
Savior, accept that He died on the cross
for you, and be happy because you
have his love. God bless me.
Finally, after reading this amazing
story of motivation, and the fact she
decides to surrender to God, so young
something very difficult to do in our
