The team was formed eight years ago with the goal of helping students and families meet their needs at home so that our students could come to school ready to learn. The FIT team meets several times throughout the school year to discuss how we can best meet needs for Crestview families, our schools, and the community. Through our partnerships, we gain knowledge of many resources that are available that we can then share with families who can benefit from them. These partnerships and organizations also have helped our families in many other way ways including: boy’s group leaders, school supplies, holiday gift-giving & meals, clothing, rent and utility assistance, food pantry, home weatherization, home repairs, camp memberships, transportation assistance, gas cards for families with hospitalized children, summer programming, counseling services, case management, winter coats, shoes, dictionaries, food and snacks for Family Nights and so much more.
