Is there any fund<strong>in</strong>g available?<br />
Yes. The John Henry <strong>Brookes</strong> International Scholarship is available to a select<br />
number of applicants who are jo<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g the <strong>Programme</strong> <strong>in</strong> September. Scholarship<br />
applications must be received by the University no later than the first week of May.<br />
The selection is made by key members of the School and one <strong>in</strong>dividual from another<br />
School/Department with<strong>in</strong> the University. Information about this and an application<br />

Students come from a variety of backgrounds:<br />
• From all cl<strong>in</strong>ical and non-cl<strong>in</strong>ical discipl<strong>in</strong>es and professional groups with<strong>in</strong><br />
health and social care organisations, as part of their cont<strong>in</strong>u<strong>in</strong>g professional<br />
development;<br />
• Environmental workers;<br />
• Volunteers <strong>in</strong> the health and social care sector;<br />
• Those who have recently graduated.<br />
