Duration of Study International students are required to complete their full Programme within twelve months from their date of enrolment. As a postgraduate student you should expect to get a visa that lasts for four months after the completion date of the course given in your acceptance of an unconditional offer letter. When do the Semesters run? The general rule is that Semester 1 runs for a twelve-week period from September to December and Semester 2 runs for a twelve-week period from late January to early May. The aim is to provide the Course Leader with information regarding your career objectives/plans and how your previous training and relevant work experience makes you a suitable candidate, and what your future career aspirations are. Realistically, working in the UK is highly competitive, as students are competing with UK and EU students for the few posts available.
