At the end of my thesis I will reflect up<strong>on</strong> my research starting from these criteria.<br />

Based <strong>on</strong> these criteria a part of the final reflecti<strong>on</strong> <strong>on</strong> my research can be c<strong>on</strong>densed<br />

to answering three questi<strong>on</strong>s:<br />

1 Am I able to make plausible how - against the background of my beliefs and values<br />

- ‘time for interrupti<strong>on</strong>’, ‘<strong>performativity</strong>’ and ‘bricoleur’ (menti<strong>on</strong>ed in chapter 1)<br />

emerge as a c<strong>on</strong>sequence of the analytical and reflexive efforts I have performed?<br />

2 Do my narratives bear witness of being involved in social interacti<strong>on</strong>s and do they<br />

seduce the readers to take notice of and to identify with the research-findings?<br />

3 Do I pursue my ethical obligati<strong>on</strong>s as a researcher regarding c<strong>on</strong>sent and c<strong>on</strong>trollability<br />

properly?<br />

2.7 What to expect? C<strong>on</strong>clusi<strong>on</strong>s and perspective<br />

In this chapter in a general sense I have positi<strong>on</strong>ed a complex resp<strong>on</strong>sive process-approach<br />

in a wider c<strong>on</strong>text of scientific and philosophical traditi<strong>on</strong>s. A complex resp<strong>on</strong>sive<br />

process-approach is embedded in reflexive, practice, critical and complexity turns<br />

within social sciences. Comm<strong>on</strong> in all these turns is that the positi<strong>on</strong> of the researcher<br />

is critically examined. It is acknowledged that a researcher is included in the way<br />

research is d<strong>on</strong>e, am<strong>on</strong>gst others thereby legitimizing research from a radically reflexive<br />

point of view. Research from an auto-ethnographic and complex resp<strong>on</strong>sive<br />

process-perspective is radically reflexive.<br />

This kind of research has already a traditi<strong>on</strong>; especially auto-ethnographic research<br />

has an acknowledged traditi<strong>on</strong> within reflexive approaches. In elaborating in an<br />

appreciative and critical way <strong>on</strong> auto-ethnographic research I have formulated the<br />

initial demands for good research from a complex resp<strong>on</strong>sive process perspective. It is<br />

important to underline that research from a complex resp<strong>on</strong>sive process-perspective<br />

is process-oriented and that a full account of used method, emerged subjects of<br />

discussi<strong>on</strong> can <strong>on</strong>ly be given at the end of the research-process. This chapter is introductory,<br />

to give an idea of what is coming and how I will take resp<strong>on</strong>sibility for my<br />

research.<br />

What has become clear is that there are quite some ethical issues to pay attenti<strong>on</strong> to.<br />

Informed and process c<strong>on</strong>sent, an ethics of c<strong>on</strong>sequences, preventi<strong>on</strong> of fraud and certain<br />

resp<strong>on</strong>sibilities of the reader have been discussed. Sec<strong>on</strong>dly I paid quite some<br />

attenti<strong>on</strong> to discussi<strong>on</strong>s about the scientificality of radically reflexive research, leading<br />

to criteria which have to do with the transferable, reflexive and realistic character of<br />

the research. Thirdly I came up with a set of criteria which seem to be amendable for<br />

my research. Based <strong>on</strong> them I also will be capable to reflect up<strong>on</strong> the limitati<strong>on</strong>s of my<br />

research.<br />
