Operations expanded to commencing tours in Cadiz, Jerez and Madrid, the latter only operating between c10/99
and 5/01. Subsequent to Guide Friday’s Spanish partners gaining full control of the business, the day before
Ensignbus/City Sightseeing took over Guide Friday UK operations, the remaining tours were rebranded as ‘Tour
por Cadiz’, ‘Tour por Jerez’ and ‘Tour por Sevilla’ and by/around 2004 the former Sevirama/Guide Friday livery
used in Cadiz & Sevilla was replaced by a yellow & bright green but still in the ‘wavy’ Guide Friday style. Buses
operating in Jerez were painted white & blue but in the same ’wavy’ style.

Notes: Ex Lothian Atlantean 22 (GSC 662X) was also acquired at the same time but it has not been traced at all
in Spain and does not seem to appear in Spanish registration records so may just have been used for spares.
SE-2810DK & SE-6277 DL are additionally fitted with right hand side doors. SE-873 DT, SE-874 DT & 3889 BDB
had their left hand side entrance removed and repositioned on the right hand side. By early 2010 it seems that
external advertising is now being carried, on buses in Sevilla anyway and SE-4064 BU was painted
yellow/red/salmon pink in the GF ‘wavy’ style for ‘Badia’.
Allocations:
All the initial Atlanteans SE-0032/3 BX, SE-4063-6 BU (GVO 718N, OTO 583/72/7M, GTO 575M, GRC 881N)
have been at Sevilla except for SE-4066 BU which operated in Madrid between 5/00 & 5/01. SE-4063 BU may
have operated in Jerez sometime after 5/06 as it was seen in Sevilla in 10/09 running in the Jerez livery but with
‘Tour por Sevilla’ names.
