Sightseeing Buses
The Sightseeing Buses list that appeared in OJ25 in 2005, together with subsequent entries that were published
in OJs 28,30 & 39, is updated this issue. This update has been compiled by Maurice Bateman and David Corke,
with acknowledgements to the Spanish buses-y-autocares yahoo group.
Many of the open tops now have retractable tops, often electrically operated, which can be closed in inclement
weather very quickly. To differential these buses the seating capacity is prefixed by OO (‘optional opentop’)
whereas the CO coding remains for those that have detachable, lift-off roof sections.

Note: It is believed that the other two are still in use at 8/10, certainly A-9736 EB was in 4/08 when it was in a
revised white with ‘swooping’ blue livery. It had been renumbered to 87 by this time, when seen in 11/04 it was
not carrying any fleet number.

The original orange & blue livery was updated with a revised layout during 2007. By this time the D prefixes to the
fleet numbers had been dropped and N2521-6 were renumbered 2510-5 respectively.
