11. A candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated document or documents
which have been tampered with or of making statements which are incorrect or false or
suppressing material information will be disqualified and if appointed will be liable for
dismissal. In addition (s)he is liable to criminal prosecution.
12. Candidates will be paid second AC Railway (2A) fare by the shortest route to the place of
interview from the Railway Station nearest to the normal place of residence of the
candidate or from which he/she actually performs the journey within India.
13. The summoning of candidates for interview conveys no assurance whatsoever that they
will be selected
14. Candidates must be in sound physical and mental health. They must, if selected, be
prepared to undergo medical examination and satisfy medical authority as the Institute
may require.
15. No interim enquiries about the application/result will be attended to. The Institute does not
enter into any correspondence with the candidates about reasons for their non-selection
for interview / appointment
16. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least
the essential qualifications prescribed for the post. It is for candidates themselves to
ensure that they satisfy the prescribed requirements. They are also informed that in case
of receipt of large number of applications for any post, the Institute reserve the rights to
raise the minimum norms for the post suitably so as to restrict the number of candidates to
be called for interview at a reasonable level.
17. No column should be left blank
18. Candidates selected may be posted either at Headquarters at Chennai or any of its
Extension Centres at Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kalamaserry or any other place in South
India depending on the requirement or transferred to any of the above places.
19. The Institute reserves the right to accept or reject and to alter the number of posts, to fill or
not to fill any or all the posts and to call or not to call the candidates for interview, without
assigning any reasons.
20. Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
21. The application form as PDF file with formatted fields may be downloaded from the
institute website www.nitttrc.ac.in . Last date of Receipt of filled in application 31 st August
2010 before 17.30 Hrs.
22. The data may also be entered directly into the fields in the application form, printed, signed
and sent with relevant enclosures by speed / registered post to the Director, National
Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research, Chennai, Taramani (PO), Chennai –

National Journals, Refereed International Journals, Unrefereed Journals, presented at
National Conferences, presented at International Conferences, etc.]
(b) Awards, Patents, Prizes etc. Indicating:
Nature, name of the prize / award, awarded for, year of award
Name of the patent, year and details about the patent, etc.
(c) List of research guidance (Ph.D. / M. Tech.)
Research degree, name of the scholar, title of the thesis, year of award, co-guide,
if any, etc.
(d) List of details of research / consultancy projects carried out and role of the candidate
Title of the project, duration, sponsor, value, co-investigators, if any, etc.
2. Any other relevant but brief information that reveals the competency of the candidate with
supporting documents.
