Voice Annunciator Test<br />

boards are displayed. If more than one version of the Modular Detector Board<br />

software is in use in the <strong>PCM</strong>-2, the communications check result for the MDBs<br />

will read "Multiple Versions". If all the software versions are the same, the<br />

software version number will be displayed.<br />

Remote Annunciator Test<br />

If the voice annunciator option is installed this test may be used to verify that the<br />

voice board is functioning properly. This test cycles through every message in<br />

voice board memory. A potentiometer (R14) on the voice board may be used to<br />

adjust volume.<br />

Badge Reader Test<br />

The <strong>PCM</strong>-2 supports a bank of 4 remote annunciators; an alarm light, a ready<br />

light, a recount light and a horn. If remote annunciators are used, this test<br />

verifies that they are functioning properly.<br />

Access Gate Check<br />

This test waits for an entry from the badge reader and then echos the number<br />

received on the screen. If a badge reader is not installed or if it doesn't seem to<br />

be working properly, the operator must enter a number via the keypad to exit this<br />

test.<br />

Set <strong>PCM</strong>-2 Clock<br />

Displays the current status (locked or unlocked) of the entrance and exit gates (if<br />

any). Note: This Access Control Gate Check feature has been developed in<br />

support of <strong>PCM</strong>-2's Access Control Gate Option (<strong>PCM</strong>2 OPTS &SA).<br />

Edit Colors<br />

Time and date information are included in all reports produced by the <strong>PCM</strong>-2.<br />

This utility function resets the clock to a time specified by the user.<br />

The Edit Colors utility function permits changes to the display color schemes.<br />

This may be done as a matter of personal preference, or to coordinate the <strong>PCM</strong>­<br />

2's display with those of other instruments. The use of this screen is selfexplanatory,<br />

however there is one caution relating to its application: if the same<br />

color is ever used for both foreground and background on a single screen, the<br />
