At the current background count rates, these are the lowest RDA values which are<br />

attainable using the specified count time and statistical parameters.<br />

This is the percentage of users who will see false alarms given the current set of<br />

parameters.<br />

The shortest count time which can be used to detect the specified RDA at the<br />

present background levels.<br />

Detector Parameters<br />

Detector parameters are normally set via the Override Parameters screen. Values<br />

entered from that screen are written to all detectors; any entries made previously<br />

to a single detector are lost. Parameters for a single channel are examined or<br />

adjusted through the Detector Parameters screen by using the arrow keys to select<br />

the desired detector. Detailed explanations of these parameters and their uses are<br />

provided elsewhere in this manual.<br />
