The Printer Option for the PCM-2 enables the user to quickly and easily generate
hard copy of various measurement and calibration data such as calibration reports,
transaction files, status log reports and source check routines. This option
consists of a Hewlett-Packard "Think-Jet" RS-232C compatible printer, and
technical manual and an accessory kit, including a printer stand, a printer cover,
paper and spare cartridges. The printer sits on a special shelf which is mounted
to the side door on the right-hand side of the instrument (as you face the PCM-2).
The PCM-2 interfaces with the printer via a parallel port on the PC. The printer
cable is routed internally out of the electronics enclosure, through the cabinet and
externally through a strain relief at the lower right-hand side and rear of the
instrument.
Refer to the printer's technical manual for printer mode select switch settings and
other configuration information.
