A ceptance of Minutes:<br />
Arthur Bing moved to accept the minutes of the 49th Annual Business<br />
Meting as written in <strong>Vol</strong>ume 50, Proceedings of the NORTHEASTERN<br />
EED SCIENCE SOCIETY pages 191-194.The motion was seconded by Garry<br />
S hnappinger. Brad asked if there was any discussion and, without any, the<br />
tion was unanimously approved by the membership.<br />
N crology Report:<br />
Andy Senesac reported the death of Barbara Emerson. Barbara worked<br />
the field of agrochemicals for Amchem Products, Union Carbide and<br />
R one-Poulenc, She was a recipient of the Award of Merit and Distinguished<br />
ember Award from NEWSS. Andy Senesac asked the membership to<br />
o serve a moment of silence in memory of Barbara.<br />
IV. xecutive Committee Reports:<br />
Brad Majek asked the membership to review the annual reports in the<br />
h ndout. Copies of the Constitution and Manual of Operations were available<br />
f r review by the membership.<br />

Attendance at the 50th Annual Meeting of the Northeastern <strong>Weed</strong><br />
cience <strong>Society</strong> was 246 for the entire meeting, with an additional 54<br />
reregistered for the Friday Turf Workshop. Projected attendance at the 1996<br />
eeting should be about 300. Andy reminded the graduate students<br />
articipating in the Graduate Student Paper Contest to bring their receipts to<br />
t e registration desk Friday morning to receive their room reimbursement.<br />
Brian reported that expenses exceeded income by $500.21 for fiscal year<br />
994-1995. He stated that three items contributed to an expenditure totaling
