Following emergence of the tomato seedlings,. were made to determine the comparative effectiveness stand and weed counts of the treatments used. At Bowling Green workers experienced in blocking, weeding and thinning vegetables were employed to go over the tomato plots. The average time required to finish each differently treated row was recorded and the data are reported in Table 2. 129 Table 2.
