Gozan Maru<br />

A 305ft long naval cargo/transport vessel, almost completely salvaged with a debris field<br />

on the bottom that is at a depth of 20m/60ft.<br />

LST Type I<br />

A 292ft long Japanese landing ship, designed to carry landing crafts, tanks, midget<br />

submarines, cargo, and troops that lies at 20m/70ft to 30m/85ft.<br />

Samidare<br />

An Imperial Japanese Navy Destroyer that lies at 5m/15ft to 10m/30ft.<br />

Sata<br />

Sister ship to the Iro and lies completely capsized on a 36m/120ft bottom. No salvaging<br />

was done on this wreck which sank on March 31, 1944. The ship is 470ft long like the<br />

Iro.<br />

Kamikaze Maru<br />

This motor torpedo boat tender is sunk about a mile south of the Iro on a 35m/115ft<br />

bottom. The stern of the ship is in very bad shape having had a large explosion destroy<br />

most of it.<br />

Ryuko Maru<br />

A 321ft long Japanese Navy cargo steamer that sunk during air raids lies upright on a<br />

36m/120ft bottom, bow pointed to the northeast.<br />

Zero Fighter<br />

Found upright in a few feet of water a few kilometers south of the single-seat fighter<br />

located southeast of Koror. It is a popular snorkel site but only accessible during high<br />

tide.<br />
