DPHM Package for PW200 Engines – Technical Description Sheet
Applicability: PW206A (MD Explorer), PW206B/B2/B3 (EC135P1/2/3), PW206C (A109E), PW206E
(MD Explorer), PW207C (A109S), PW207D (B427), PW207D1/D2 (B429), PW207E
(MD Explorer), PW207K (Ansat) Engines.
This technical description sheet describes the specific functionalities and components related to
Diagnostics, Prognostics and Health Management (“DPHM”) Package for the PW200 engine family.
The DPHM cable assembly is used to perform the following flight line maintenance activities and
diagnostic tasks:
Downloading of engine diagnostic data recorded by the engine control system (available for
PW206B2/B3, PW207C/D/D1/D2 engines only)
Viewing and changing engine data stored in the Data Collection Unit (DCU)
Engine troubleshooting for fault isolation and using Real-time monitoring of engine data
The DPHM Package components are:

‣ Ground-Based Software included in Engine Maintenance Collection
Ground-Based Software contains GBS Transfer Module software and Diagnostic Module
(“GBSlite”) software.
Ground based software links directly to fault isolation chart in on-line Engine Maintenance
Manual (“EMM”).
On-line access via the P&WC Customer Portal to up-to-date Service Bulletins (“SB”),
Service Information Letters (SIL), Temporary Revisions (“TR”), Tool Service Bulletins, and
Spare Parts Bulletins.
Access to the Engine Maintenance Manual (“EMM”) and the Illustrated Parts Catalog
(“IPC”).
Access to Engine Diagnostic Tool - Spotlight®.
Special Notes:
For PW207D1/D2 and PT6T-9 (Bell 412 EPI), the use of the Ground Support Equipment provided by
Bell with the helicopter (two GSE cables and GSE Switch Box) is mandatory to communicate with the
aircraft using the DPHM kit
For Bell 427 and 429 operators, the DPHM cable assembly is sold with the aircraft and will be
delivered to the customer after returning the DPHM registration certificate and Ground-Based Software
will be available with Maintenance Collection subscription.

Diagnostic Module (“GBSlite”) software provides:
An Express Access panel for easy access to common
troubleshooting tasks and help instructions
Ability to review and diagnose recorded engine fault data,
exceedances, snapshots and events (available for
PW206B2/B3, PW207C/D/D1/D2/K engines only)
Ability to link fault codes to maintenance actions suggested in
the Engine Maintenance Manual.
Analytic tools to view, plot and print engine data
Transfer module GBSTm allows for:
Downloading of engine diagnostic data (available for
PW206B2/B3, PW207C/D/D1/D2/K engines only)
Viewing and changing engine parameters (e.g. trims,etc. )
Viewing and recording of engine Real-Time Display data
Maintenance Collection allows for:
