Diagnostics, Prognostics and Health Management (“DPHM”) Package<br />
Applicability: All PT6A, PT6B, PT6C, PT6T, PW100, PW150, PW200, PW300, PW500 and<br />
PW600 Engine Models<br />
This Service Information Letter “SIL” is updated to announce that the P&WC’s Ground-Based<br />
Software is now included with your Technical Publications subscription and will be available<br />
online at eportal.pwc.ca starting June 4 th , 2012. The DPHM cable assembly will continue to be<br />
procured from <strong>Pratt</strong> & <strong>Whitney</strong> Component Solutions.<br />
The DPHM Package allows operators to leverage the flight data captured by the engine’s<br />
advanced electronic diagnostic devices, as applicable, enhancing an operator’s autonomy and<br />
aircraft availability.<br />
A DPHM Package technical description sheet, specific to each engine family, is available on<br />
P&WC’s Website (www.pwc.ca) under Service & Support - Diagnostics/Prognostics –<br />
Products Description section.<br />
The DPHM package components, DPHM cable assembly and Ground-Based Software, can be<br />
procured separately as follows:<br />
How to Order the DPHM cable assembly<br />
The DPHM cable assembly, used to connect the engine control system to the operator’s<br />
computer, can be ordered from <strong>Pratt</strong> & <strong>Whitney</strong> Components Solutions (details at the end of<br />
this SIL).<br />
The DPHM cable assembly part numbers and prices per engine model for which Ground-Based<br />
Software is available are listed in Table 1 below.<br />
To order the DPHM cable assembly, operators must fill out the order form on page 4 and return<br />
it to <strong>Pratt</strong> & <strong>Whitney</strong> Components Solutions.<br />
How to Order the Ground-Based Software<br />
Ground-Based Software is now included in Technical Publications’ Maintenance Collection and<br />
is available from the Technical Publications section on the P&WC portal. The latest version of<br />
Ground-Based Software can now be accessed and downloaded to your local computer as<br />
required and a Ground-Based Software tutorial is also available to provide you clear<br />
instructions.<br />
This Service Information Letter is valid until superseded or cancelled by revision.<br />

- From the technical publications tab, you can purchase and renew technical publications<br />
subscriptions by selecting engine model or aircraft type.<br />
The new Online Publications will be released throughout 2012 and will feature a new<br />
interactive, electronic format that will give you instant access to easy-to-navigate, convenient<br />
links and cross references within our Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogues and<br />
Service Bulletins.<br />
The DPHM Package does not include access to the Web-based Engine Condition Trend<br />
Monitoring System WebECTM®, or to Data Analysis Center “DAC” Services. For theses<br />
services, refer to P&WC’s Website (www.pwc.ca) under Service & Support -<br />
Diagnostics/Prognostics – Data Analysis Services section.<br />
All existing DPHM customers’ subscriptions have automatically been migrated to the Technical<br />
Publications section on the P&WC customer portal.<br />
