Seit 1992 gehört die UNIFLEX-Hydraulik GmbH zur Unternehmensgruppe Freiherren Waitz. Damit war der Grundstein für weiteres Wachstum gelegt:
1996 erfolgte der Umzug in ein neues, größeres Büro- und Produktionsgebäude in Karben, 10 km nördlich von Frankfurt. Seit 1998 besteht die
Niederlassung UNIFLEX of America Ltd. zur Betreuung der Märkte des amerikanischen Kontinents und befindet sich jetzt in Minneapolis/Minnesota.
Im Juni 2004 eröffnete Uniflex eine Niederlassung in Singapur. Von dort aus werden die asiatischen Kunden betreut. Heute, nach über 30 Jahren, ist
UNIFLEX der innovative Systemanbieter in Sachen Schlauchleitungsherstellung – von der Werkstattausrüstung bis zur Produktionsanlage. Ebenso
innovative wie zuverlässige Trenngeräte, Pressen, Prüfsysteme, Software und Reinigungsgeräte wurden und werden in enger Zusammenarbeit mit
führenden Schlauchleitungskonfektionären entwickelt und weltweit vertrieben.

The company UNIFLEX-Hydraulik GmbH was established by the engineer Peter Schröck in Frankfurt/Main in 1972. Based on its trailblazing
innovations and high-quality products, it quickly grew into a leading supplier of machines used for producing hose assemblies.
Since 1992, UNIFLEX has been part of the Freiherren Waitz group of companies and, hence, has the basis required for further growth. In 1996
UNIFLEX moved into a new office and production building in Karben, 10 km north of Frankfurt/Main. Since 1998 UNIFLEX of America Ltd. in
Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA) has provided direct support to our partners in North America and Canada. Our Asian partners can benefit from our
subsidiary in Singapore since June 2004.
Based on its years of cooperation with many manufacturers of hose assemblies, UNIFLEX has developed a comprehensive program of machines
designed for producing hose assemblies. It provides cutting machines, presses, testing systems and cleaning machines. In this way, UNIFLEX has
become an innovative system supplier – from workshop equipment to production plants.

S 8i / S 10i
Die S 8i und die S 10i sind die stärksten Servicepressen die
Uniflex anbietet. Industrieschläuche bis Ø 4" sind ebenso
wenig ein Problem, wie 2" 2-teilige R13 und R 15
(1 ½" bei S 8i) Armaturen. Dabei liefern beide Maschinen
Ergebnisse, die den bekannten Uniflex-Zielen von Präzision
und Zuverlässigkeit in jeder Hinsicht entsprechen.
S 8i and S 10i are the strongest of the Uniflex-service
crimpers. Industrial hoses of up to Ø 4" and 2" 2-part
R 13 and R 15 (1 ½" for S 8i) fittings are no problem for
the machine. At the same time the results honour the
well-known Uniflex goals of precision and reliability.
De 2” hydraulique jusqu’à 4” industrie, la S8i et S10i sont
les plus puissantes de nos machines d´atelier. Sans entretien,
étroites et compactes, elles permettent un travail aisé

Unvermindert geht der Trend zur einbaufertigen, gereinigten Schlauchleitung, da die steigende Komplexität der Hydraulikanlagen dieses
fordert. Durch zwei Spülkegel lassen sich Schlauchleitungen von DN 6 bis DN 32 oder Rohrleitungen von Ø 5 bis 40 mm in nur einem
Arbeitsgang reinigen. Mit Filter-Feinheiten von 25, 12 und 5 μm werden Reinheitsgrade bis Ölreinheitsklasse 13/10 gemäß ISO-Norm 4406
(NAS 1638 – Klasse 4) erreicht.
The trend toward cleaned hose and tube
assemblies that are ready to be installed is
continuing steadily, particularly in view
of the increasing complexity of
hydraulic systems. Using two cleaning
cones, hoses assemblies ranging from
DN 6 to DN 32 or pipes with diameter of
5 to 40 mm can be cleaned in only one
operating cycle. With filters of 25, 12, or
5 μm, cleanliness levels of 13/10
according to ISO standard 4406 (NAS
1638 – Grade 4) can be obtained.
La tendance à nettoyer les flexibles se
développe, de part l’accroisement de
systèmes hydrauliques de plus en plus
complexes. Deux cônes vous permettent
de couvrir le nettoyage de flexibles DN 6
à DN 32 ou des tubes rigides du
diamètre 5 à 40 mm, en une seule
opération. Des filtres 25, 12 et 5 μm
vous permettent d´obtenir la classe
13/10 selon ISO 4406 (NAS 1638 –

Mit den statischen Uniflex Prüfständen wird die
gefahrlose und effiziente Endkontrolle von
Schlauchleitungen problemlos und schnell
möglich. Besonders der integrierte Tank stellt
eine wesentliche Erleichterung dar. Eventuell
austretende Prüfflüssigkeit kann sofort und ohne
Verluste wieder in den Tank zurückfließen. Durch
die Verwendung einer Wasser-Öl Emulsion wird
die Schlauchleitung neben dem Prüfen zugleich
wirksam vor Korrosion geschützt. Zudem
ermöglicht der Anschluss der nachrüstbaren
Protokolliereinheit (P 160) das Ausdrucken der
Prüfergebnisse.

The Uniflex Hydrostatic Test Benches make the
efficient and safe final inspection of hose lines
practical and fast. In the case of a leakage the
emitting fluid will flow back into the tank without
any loss of testing fluid. Due to the use of a
special water-oil emulsion, the assembly is not
only tested, but at the same time protected
against corrosion. By connecting the optional
test report unit all results may be recorded
continuously.

Der Uniflex Prüfstand P 200 E
ermöglicht flexibleres, schnelleres und
einfacheres Prüfen ihrer Produkte: Die
Schlauchleitung wird einfach in die
Prüfkammer eingelegt, mit dem
patentierten Dichtspannsystem
verschlossen, mit umweltfreundlichen
Prüfmedium gefüllt, statisch mit bis zu
1300 bar (Hochdruck: bis 3000 bar)
belastet und automatisch entleert.
Dabei austretende Flüssigkeit fließt
sofort und ohne Verluste in den
integrierten Tank zurück. Bei dem
Prüfvorgang wird eine Wasser-Öl
Emulsion verwendet, die die
Schlauchleitung gleichzeitig wirksam
vor Korrosion schützt. Die
UNIMATIControl-E ermöglicht es den
Prüfprozess zu kontrollieren und
protokollieren.
The Uniflex test bench P 200 E
enables more flexible, faster and
easier testing of your products: The
hose assembly is placed in the test
chamber, clamped with the patented
clamping system, filled with test
medium, subjected to a static load of
up to 1300 bar (High Pressure: up to
3000 bar) and emptied automatically.
If there is any leakage, the test fluid
will flow back into the integrated tank
without any losses. At the same time
as the hose assembly is being tested,
the special water-oil emulsion acts as
an anticorrosive agent. Additionally
this testing process can be checked,
saved and printed out using the
UNIMATIControl-E.

Eine Handvoll Dichtspitzen ersetzt Hunderte von
Gewindeadaptern:
Laden: Je eine Seite der Schlauchleitung wird in einen fixen und
einen verstellbaren Prüfkopf eingelegt. Ein Hydraulikaggregat sorgt für
den sensibel regelbaren Spanndruck der Dichtspitzen.
Prüfen: Eine Füllpumpe spült und entlüftet den Prüfling. Nach dem
Verriegeln der Abdeckhaube beginnt der Aufbau des vorher
eingestellten Spann- und Prüfdrucks automatisch.
Ausblasen: Ein Knopfdruck beendet die Druckprüfung, d.h. es erfolgt
der Abbau des Prüfdrucks und das Einschalten der Ausblasautomatik.
Protokoll: Mit der UNIMATIControl-E kann eine statische
Druckprüfung durchgeführt und protokolliert werden. Die
Datenausgabe erfolgt hierbei über eine RS 232 Schnittstelle, mit der
die Prüfprotokolle über einen Computer angezeigt, gespeichert und
ggf. ausgedruckt werden können.
A Handful of Sealing Cones Replaces Hundreds of
Threaded Adapters:
Loading: One end of the hose is inserted into a fixed test head,
the other into an adjustable test head. A hydraulic unit supplies the
precisely adjustable clamping pressure to the sealing heads.
Testing: The flooding pump rinses and de-aerates the hose line.
After the lid is locked, the preset clamping and test pressure is
generated automatically.
Blowing out: The pressure test is completed with one push button,
i.e. the test pressure is reduced and the blow-out operation is started
automatically to purge out the test fluid.
Test record: An hydrostatic pressure test can be carried out and
recorded with the microprocessor-based UNIMATControl-E system.
An RS 232 interface is provided through which the test records may
be displayed, saved and, if necessary, printed from a PC or directly on
the customers own dot matrix printer.
Une poignée de têtes de raccordement remplace
des centaines d´adaptateurs:
Chargement: Un côté du flexible est inséré dans la tête fixe, l´autre
dans la tête mobile. Un groupe hydraulique fournit une pression
ajustable et précise sur les têtes de serrage.

encodées.
Soufflage: Le test se termine par pression sur un bouton de commande,

la réduction de pression ainsi que le soufflage du
liquide hors du flexible.
Protocole: Les données du test pression statique peuvent être
enregistrées grâce au microprocesseur UNIMATIControl-E. Une interface
RS 232 vous permet de visualiser les données et de les imprimer.

Uniflex bietet seiner Kundschaft mit seinem patentierten
C-Form-Presswerkzeug das einfache, sichere und leichte radiale
Zuführen von komplizierten Schlauchleitungen. Da die
Schlauchleitung nicht mehr axial in das ganz geöffnete
Presswerkzeug zugeführt werden muss, ist diese Art von
Werkzeugtyp in hohem Maße wirtschaftlich und spart Ihnen
somit Zeit und Geld.
The HM 245 hose press is equipped with a "C” shaped tool, therefore
complicated hose assemblies do not need to be inserted axially
through the tool. The fittings or sleeves can be located anywhere on
the hose assembly, and can be easily loaded radially, saving you time
and money.
La HM 245 est une presse à tête ouverte et permet donc le sertissage de
flexibles à formes complexes. Elle permet de rentrer le flexible de
manière radiale dans la presse. Cela évite de devoir enfiler le flexible
au travers de la tête, et permet de ce fait un gain important en
productivité.

Die A-Steuerung verwirklicht dies in besonderer Weise. Die
UNIMATIControl-B ist die Standard-Steuerung die den heutigen
Bedürfnissen industrieller Fertigung entspricht. In Erweiterung der
Funktionalität der UNIMATIControl-B bietet die UNIMATIControl-E
zusätzlich die Möglichkeit bis zu 400 Artikeldatensätze abzuspeichern.
Hierdurch wird auch für Ungeübte ein sicherer Betrieb erleichtert.

permettre d´adapter votre machine à votre production. Ces options

Die Daten können in ein vorgegebenes Tabellenblatt von MS Excel eingetragen werden und mit Hilfe von
UTS
UTS an die UNIMATIControl-E Steuerung übertragen werden. Somit wird ein Abgleich mehrerer
Maschinen mit Artikeldaten sowie eine komfortable Dokumentation und Datensicherung ermöglicht.
Ferner ist mit UTS eine lückenlose Dokumentation aller Pressungen möglich, insbesondere mit der PFM-
Option, die den Druckwert als zusätzlichen unabhängigen Parameter mit abspeichert. System-Vorraussetzungen: min. Windows 98SE, min.
Excel 7.0; serieller Anschluß. (Adapter RS-232 zu USB kann mit der Artikelnummer 802.091 bezogen werden)
UTS enables a comfortable article entry via the PC. The data can be entered in a set MS Excel-sheet and be transfered with UTS to the
UNIMATIControl-E. Therefore it is possible to compare the data from a number of machines, provide documentation and backup in one go.
All crimpings can be documentet with UTS, especially with the PFM option, which saves the pressure value as additional parameter. System

PFM
PFM bietet im Rahmen der Serienproduktion
die Möglichkeit, durch
vergleichsweise geringen Aufwand und
Kosten eine erhebliche Qualitätsverbesserung
zu Erreichen. Nach jeder
Pressung mit der PFM-Option wird der
erreichte Enddruck angezeigt. Hierdurch
können Startwerte für den Oberen- bzw.
Unteren Druck-Grenzwert gewonnen
werden. Während der Pressung wird
permanent der gemessene Druckwert mit
einem oberen Druck-Grenzwert verglichen.
Liegt dieser über dem vom Bediener
vorgegebenen Bereich (typisch +/- 10%),
wird eine Fehlermeldung ausgelöst. Am
Ende der Pressung wird ebenso geprüft ob
der vorgegebene Mindestdruck erreicht
wurde.
Der Bediener hat im Falle eines Fehlers die
Möglichkeit das Werkstück nochmals einer
genauen Untersuchung zuzuführen und
eventuelle Fehlerquellen zu beseitigen.
Im Rahmen einer detaillierten
Untersuchung konnte die Prozess-
Sicherheit von 97,8 % auf 99,7% erhöht
werden. Mit anderen Worten: es konnten
ca. 2% der gefertigten Teile die nicht der
Serienspezifikation entsprochen haben
erkannt werden, ohne dass diese zu
Kunden ausgeliefert wurden.
PFM gives you the option to achieve a substantial quality improvement - for a comparatively
small investment of time and money. And here is how it works:
After each crimp process with the PFM-Option the reached crimp value is shown. Out of these
measures the start values for the upper- or lower pressure limit can be determined. During each
crimp process the permanently measured crimp value is compared to the entered limits. If this
exceeds the set limits, an error message is shown. In the end of the crimp process it is tested
once more if the minimal pressure has been reached. In the case of an error the operator has
the option to check the work piece thoroughly and to correct any sources of the error.
During a detailed examination with the PFM-option the quality of a production process was
increased from 97.8% to 99.7%. 2% of all produced parts had defects and with the UNIFLEX
PFM option it was prevented that these defective parts were delivered to customers.
Cette option aide l´opérateur à détecter des anomalies relative à la production en cours. Pour le
sertissage d´un flexible donné, l´opérateur surveille la pression lors des premiers sertissages.
Cette Pression est alors intégrée dans les paramètres de sertissage dans le contrôle
UNIMATIControl-E avec une marge de sécurité. Si un flexible nécessite une pression de 120 bar
lors du sertissage, on enregistrera par exemple une pression minimum de 115 bar et maximum
de 125 bar. La machine informera l´opérateur dès lors cette pression est non atteinte ou
dépassée. Ceci permet de détecter les anomalies. Le résultat se retrouve sur le tableau ci-joint
que vous pouvez également sauvegarder avec l´option UTS ( incluse dans l´option PFM ) sur
votre ordinateur. Seul Uniflex vous garantit une très grande précision par le fait d'une construction
ne nécessitant aucun graissage. En effet, les machines utilisant le graissage conventionnel,
la force et le pression varient fortement en fonction de la quantité de graisse et la température
de la machine. Ci-dessus un autre tableau montrant un graphique Pression & Force / mm de
compression. C´est le résultat final de cette évolution que l´option PFM vous permets d´utiliser
afin d´améliorer le 0 défaut.
