This is the perfect upgrade for an outdated points or HEI distributors.<br />
Designed for street driven cars, this system is built around a billet aluminum<br />
housing that is CNC-machined to exact tolerances. An oversized steel shaft is<br />
guided by a sealed ball bearing and an extra-long sintered bushing for high<br />
RPM stability and endurance. Features an easy-to-adjust mechanical advance,<br />
along with a vacuum andvance to dial in performance. Distributor has a<br />
built-in module that provides a much more powerful spark than any stock<br />
HEI. Includes Blaster 2 coil, coil bracket, coil wire, standard distributor cap<br />
and a HEI-style distributor cap.<br />

capable of running above 9,000 RPM, which is 50%<br />
more current than stock units that lose spark energy at<br />
approximately 4,500 RPM. This unit also delivers a<br />
much more precise timing signal. Features include a<br />
magnetic pickup, billet reluctor, Tuftride-coated shaft<br />
that is guided by a sealed ball bearing and long<br />
sintered bushing, adjustable mechanical advance<br />
assembly, all which is enclosed in a billet aluminum<br />
housing that is CNC-machined. This is a complete set<br />

module and coil and replace them with the MSD 6A or 6AL ignition control<br />
and the Blaster 2 high output coil. The result is more power, increased RPM<br />
range, easier starting, plus better mileage & performance.<br />
