Modules include: gender and gender mainstreaming; international law instruments as a framework for mainstreaming gender in climate change; overview of gender issues and climate change; gender mainstreaming in adaptation, mitigation actions, gendersensitive strategies on technology development and transfer to support actions on mitigation and adaptation. Each module contains: a description and analysis of the topic; an outline of the learning objectives of the module and how to carry out the exercises; an explanation of the activities, procedures and timing; handouts and exercises for distribution.
