The main objective of the workshop<br />

was to identify a plan of action that<br />

farmers can adopt to minimize the<br />

risks of Natural disasters to their<br />

resources.<br />

The methodology uses a participatory<br />

approach to assess the adaptive<br />

capacity and consequently the<br />

vulnerability of communities. Livelihood<br />

assets and strategies at the level of the<br />

household are examined to determine<br />

the underlying cause of vulnerabilities.<br />
