VOLUME 25 | January 16 - 31 | 2011 FROM THE EDITOR CONTENTS Hello Abu Dhabi, I recently dropped my cellphone (a Blackberry Bold) in the parking lot of Marina Mall. I frantically searched for it for four hours, retracing my step through all the stores I had visited. I suspected that I had left it on the counter of Baby Shop. When I told the manager, he went through the surveillance tapes to show me that I hadn’t (pretty cool, thank you Baby Shop for the outstanding service!) I called the phone from home but when no one answered assumed that whoever found the phone decided to keep it. Four hours later I got call from a polite gentleman named Maghrabi who said he found the phone in the parking lot. Maghrabi took directions and delivered it to my home. Is that amazing or what?? Thank you Maghrabi - you embody the spirit of kindness and humanity. On the same tangent (of humanity) I feel compelled to share with you all, our community, the plight of thirteen children (aged five to eighteen) who lost their mother this month.
