The program and degree are designed to prepare you for entry-level jobs as well as to successfully transfer into Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of
Fine Arts (BFA) degree programs in any number of art, art history, design or visual communications areas. The Art + Design program’s chronological
course sequencing provides a balance of art studio, art history, design studio, graphics studio, and MACRAO approved general education courses.
This degree program provides you with a solid foundation for further academic or professional pursuits in: advertising, art criticism and theory, art
education, art history, automotive design, ceramics, digital imaging, drawing, graphic design, fashion design, furniture design, illustration, industrial
design, interactive and multimedia graphics, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, textile design, visual communications, web design, or a
