Focuses on the problem of firefighter health and safety, and the design and<br />

implementation of a departmental safety program. Includes command<br />

issues, policies and programs addressing health and safety in emergency<br />

Focuses on the skills and techniques that a mid-level manager needs to<br />

provide leadership and direction in the fire service. Includes discussions<br />

on the use of environmental scanning as a tool, the concepts of paradigm<br />

Focuses on the increasing awareness to a wide variety of emergency<br />

language, which is quite necessary for such a complicated language as<br />
