Non-Credit Programs
Delta College offers a variety of classes and programs designed to meet
the needs of the diverse communities it serves through non-credit classes.
These classes and programs do not lead to a degree or certificate, but
are designed to assist individuals with their personal and professional
development.
Delta views education as a lifelong process that takes place in a wide
variety of environments. Classes are taught on the campus, in public
schools, in industrial plants, in commercial office buildings, at Delta
College Centers and at other locations.
The College is assisted by program advisory committees; professional,
civic and church organizations; governmental agencies; business; the
labor industry; and other groups in determining needs and providing
education and training to the community.
Financial Aid for Non-Credit Classes:
Financial assistance may be available for students enrolling for LifeLong
Learning short-term training program courses through the Delta College
Board of Trustees Grant. It is intended for individuals who are supported
by some type of public assistance or those employed at a very low income
level. Students must be residents of Bay, Midland, or Saginaw Counties.
Funds for this grant are limited. An application should be completed at
least two weeks prior to expected enrollment. Applications completed
later than this may not be considered. For an application please visit the

Kids College
Kids College is a youth development program which offers opportunities
during summer for children in 3rd-6th grades. Class offerings are
designed to challenge students through hands-on learning experiences.

LifeLong Learning
We provide anyone the opportunity to grow in knowledge and understanding,
to acquire technical and professional skills, to experience
new dimensions in human relations, and to develop leadership potential.
Our programs and testing services are built on the philosophy
that learning is never finished during the life of an individual. Our
instructors and staff are committed to making the pursuit of LifeLong
Learning possible in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
Career Retraining
Many of our Career Training courses have been offered for nearly 50
years, including Phlebotomy and Health Unit Coordinator! Student
success has always been our focus and we pride ourselves with our
quality programming, informed instructors and community partnerships.
These fast track programs classes are for individuals who want
to train for a new career. Programs are from 4-15 weeks in length and
are in high demand fields. Students not only receive training, they
also get jobs!
Continuing Education & CEU’s for Professionals
Earn continuing education units (CEU’s) in your current profession,
prepare for professional exams, and fulfill licensing certification
requirements. All classes have been developed to be high quality,
affordable and conscious of the value of your time.
Personal Enrichment
Whether it is building a competitive edge at work by learning new
computer software, riding a motorcycle, taking interest in photography,
implementing sustainability practices or maximizing your job search
success; do not miss the chance to do something for yourself!
General Education
LifeLong Learning offers a variety of online and instructor-led courses
to help individuals brush up on their basic skills. Courses offered
include GED® Examination Preparation and KeyTrain® for WorkKeys
Assessments.
Testing Services
LifeLong Learning now offers testing services for occupational certifications
and licensures, as well as standardized testing services including
the GED® Test, ACT® WorkKeys® Assessments and more. Please
