2. This Criminal Justice Program does not certify you for employment as a police enforcement officer as it does not incorporate the Basic Police Training
(B.P.T.) Program.
3. Employment within the Criminal Justice field may be delayed or denied depending on a history of convictions involving felonies, misdemeanors, and/
or involving controlled substances.
4. Keyboarding waiver test is available for OAT 170. Contact the BIT Division office, 989-686-9127, to arrange for waiver test. If proficiency can be
demonstrated in computer concepts and competencies, additional electives may be substituted.
5. File an application for an associate or dual degree and/or certificate with the Registrar’s Office by at least 3 months prior to expected graduation.
