Description:
AQUASMART –ADY 2K is a two component,
water based, aliphatic coating with exceptional
performance in a multitude of applications.
Main areas of application are as a top-coat for
polyurethane and Epoxy based solvent free, self
leveling floor systems; As a penetrative concrete
sealer and as an impregnation coating for
natural stone.
The product has excellent UV, chemical, water
and abrasion resistance. It is easily pigmented
with off the shelf water based pigment pastes in
a 5-10% by weight ratio depending on the hiding
power required.
Application is carried out with a roller with at a
consumption of 250-300 gr/m2.
Recommended for:
• As a top coat over Hyperfloor and other
polyurethane self leveling floors as well
as epoxy based floor coatings.
• As a concrete sealer
• Protection of natural stone
• Industrial paint

Application Prerequisites:
Can be successfully applied on:
Concrete, fibrous cement, cement roof tiles, wood,
corroded metal, galvanized steel. For information

department.
Standard concrete substrate conditions (no primer
needed):
• Hardness: R28 = 15 Mpa.
• Temperature: 5-35 oC.
• Relative humidity: < 85%.
Suitable primers: Aquadur, primer-W, primer-T
Universal Primer, Microsealer depending on the
substrate. Please contact our technical department
for primer selection advice.
Application Procedure:
Clean the substrate using a high pressure washer, if
possible. Remove oil, grease and wax contaminants.
Mixing:
Use a low speed (300 rpm) mixer . Add second
component and continue mixing for a few minutes.
Application:
Apply with roller, at a minimum of 250 gr/m2 in two
coats.
Make sure not to disturb applied material with
excessive rolling as roll marks may appear.
The material is relatively fast drying and therefore
any additional rolling after first application will cause
surface defects to appear.
Make sure first coat is completely dry before second
coat is applied.
Consumption: Minimum consumption
250 gr/m2 in two coats
Shelf Life:
Can be kept for 12 months minimum in the original
unopened pails in dry places and at temperatures of
5-25 oC.

Cleaning:
Clean tools and equipment with water.
