SAVAK—a joint creation of the CIA and<br />

the Mossad—served as the secret police of<br />

the Shah of Iran (top left), a bitter foe of the<br />

Kennedy family. SAVAK carried out the<br />

assassination of Sen. Robert Kennedy in<br />

1968 on behalf of the CIA and the Mossad.<br />

Longtime CIA official and later CIA Director<br />

Richard Helms (top right), a close friend<br />

of the Shah and James Angleton’s CIA<br />

patron, was implicated in Angleton’s<br />

scheme in 1978 to frame E. Howard Hunt<br />

for involvement in the JFK assassination.<br />

Later, hoping to derail the Watergate scandal,<br />

President Richard Nixon (left) attempted<br />

to blackmail Helms and the CIA over the<br />

CIA’s role in the JFK assassination. Relying<br />

in part on the revelations of the book,<br />

Katharine the Great (by Debra<br />

Davis), <strong>Final</strong> <strong>Judgment</strong> demonstrates<br />

that the Watergate affair was orchestrated by<br />

Angleton’s little-known CIA desk in the<br />

White House to force Nixon from office.<br />

New evidence indicates Nixon was planning<br />

to publicly attack the Israeli lobby for<br />

blocking .
