Function:<br />
The funnel of the SWA 233 is covered by a thermal hot wire sensor. The measured airflow influences the sensors resistance. The current needed<br />
to stabilize the hot wire temperature is proportional to the air flow. This principle allows quick response time, precise measurement and indicates<br />
variations in the air flow. Due to the very low aerodynamic resistance of the SWA 233 (typ. 0.01“ water column @ 2700 ft 3 /h) the airflow will<br />
not be affected by the measurement itself.<br />

• examination of the exhaust air and<br />
supply air openings at air conditioning<br />
systems<br />
