proofreaders’ marks and in creating standard<br />

business letters, interoffice memos, tables,<br />

simple reports and newsletters using Microsoft<br />

five or fewer errors on five-minute timed<br />

documents, such as agendas, news releases,<br />

itineraries and speeches. Guided drills are<br />

designed to increase speed to 60 words per<br />

minute with five or fewer errors on five-minute<br />

timed writings. Students learn to make<br />

effective document formatting decisions<br />

of knowledge of multimedia elements<br />

(copyright, video, graphics, sound, animation)<br />

knowledge of tools (digital camera, video<br />

camera, scanner, cams), and knowledge of<br />

editing software (sound editing, video editing,<br />

graphics editing).<br />

introduces students to spreadsheet and<br />

presentation software. This introductory course<br />

is intended for students with no knowledge or<br />
