Portable Crimp System<br />
The EHCY is a fast cycling benchtop<br />
crimp tool designed to be lightweight<br />
and rugged. The versatile features of<br />
the EHCY make this a good choice<br />
where production and quality cannot<br />
be compromised.<br />
This unit is small in overall size<br />
(10.0" H x 7.1" W x 19.1" L) and weighs<br />
approximately 27 pounds, but has ample<br />
die force power to do most jobs. The<br />
crimp cycle time is only two seconds.<br />
Compatibility with Existing<br />
Crimp Dies<br />
The EHCY accommodates all<br />
M22520/5-XX military and <strong>Daniels</strong> “Y”<br />
series crimp dies. This affords total<br />
utilization of existing dies and total<br />
interchangeability with M22520/5-01<br />
(<strong>Daniels</strong> HX4) hand tool frames.<br />
Full Cycle Control<br />
Full crimp pressure is assured on every<br />
crimp. The internal cycle control network<br />
will not allow the tool to open until<br />
complete pressure is attained. The<br />
cycle is disabled when the Emergency<br />
Stop button is actuated.<br />

Operator Safety Features<br />
The EHCY is equipped with a crimp<br />
cavity guard to remind users to keep<br />
fingers clear of the crimp dies.<br />
An Emergency Stop button is located<br />
on top of the tool. Depressing this<br />
button releases the hydraulic pressure<br />
and retracts the crimp dies to re-open.<br />
A Foot Pedal is Available (P/N EHCFP)<br />
When plugged to the crimp press, it<br />
disables the front panel actuator.<br />
