Hydrac Hydraulic 3.5 Ton Crimping Tool for Y-Dies<br />
HD37 Hydraulic Crimpers are a combination of lightweight<br />
design and the precise application of 3.5 tons force to crimp<br />
power contacts too large for conventional hand tools. These<br />
tools are designed to accept the entire family of M22520/5-XX<br />
dies (Y-dies) for crimping terminals, lugs or any other special<br />
applications. (DMC “Y” series dies featured on pages 71 and 77.<br />
If your application requirement is not already covered by one<br />
of our standard dies, our engineering department will be pleased<br />
to discuss a design to suit your needs, consult DMC for details.<br />
WIRE RANGE: #26 to #2 AWG in many power applications,<br />
and .500 (12.7mm) in coaxial hexagonal crimping.<br />
HDE37B Battery Powered Hydraulic Crimp Tool<br />
The HDE37B Battery Powered<br />
Crimp Tool offers the portability of<br />
a hand tool with the stamina of a<br />
power tool! It is a hand held, selfcontained<br />
hydraulic crimp tool that<br />
is actuated with a single squeeze of<br />
the trigger.<br />
The HDE37B offers a solution<br />
where the volume of work exceeds<br />
the physical limits of a worker with<br />
hand tools, and hoses and cables<br />
are unwelcome or unsafe for the<br />
environment where the work is being<br />
performed.<br />
The HDE37B battery tool is<br />
approximately 13.25" long, 2.87"<br />
wide, and 4.5" deep, weighs 2.8 lb<br />
with the battery installed.<br />

HD37 MANUAL Tool<br />
For the hand tool, the 3.5 ton<br />
crimp force is achieved through<br />
multiple actuations of the tool<br />
handle. The automatic relief valve<br />
“clicks” audibly when the proper<br />
crimp force has been applied to<br />
prevent over-compression. The<br />
tool head also rotates to any<br />
position for easy accessibility<br />
in confined working areas. The hand tool is 8.5 inches long,<br />
weighs only 3.3 lbs, and is operated with one hand.<br />
