Route description Shell Pernis
Experience shows that visitors using a GPS navigation system arrive in different places
around our area. Therefore, it is preferable to follow the directions below or to follow
port number 3190. The port numbers are listed on the route signing of Rijkswaterstaat.
When using a navigation system, type the following address:
Petroleumweg, Vondelingenplaat Rotterdam
As a visitor, you must register with a valid ID at the reception of the Central
Office. The entrance to the parking lot is located on the Petroleumweg,
Vondelingenplaat.
Public transport
Shell Pernis is very poorly served by public transport.
Refer www.9292ov.nl or 0900-9292 for travel advice 'door to door'.
We advise you to travel by taxi from the train station Schiedam Centrum or
Underground (Metro) Station Hoogvliet.
Transport by car/motorcycle
Via highway A15 (coming from the east)
Follow the A15 to ‘Europoort’. Take side-way 17. Keep to the left at the split and follow
the way to the Hoefsmidstraat. At the Hoefsmidstraat turn to the right (road sign
Pernis). At the traffic lights, turn to the left. This is the Vondelingenweg. Stay on the
right lane and follow the fly-over. At the traffic lights, turn to the right (Petroleumweg).
After about 100 metres you will find the entrance to the parking place on your left hand
side. The high building with the pecten is the Central Office.
Via highway A15 (coming from the west)
Drive through the Botlektunnel and follow the right lane. Take side-way 17 (Hoogvliet).
At the traffic lights, go straight ahead. After the next traffic lights, take the right lane
and drive straight ahead (road sign Pernis). At the next traffic lights, turn to the left.
This is the Vondelingenweg. Follow the fly-over. At the traffic lights turn to the right
(Petroleumweg). After about 100 metres you will find the entrance to the parking place
on your left hand side. The high building with the pecten is the Central Office.
Via Hoogvliet (Spijkenisse)
Follow the Aveling in northern direction: at the traffic lights (next to Mc Donald’s) turn
to the right, direction Pernis. At the next traffic lights turn to the left. This is the
Vondelingenweg. Follow the fly-over. At the traffic lights turn to the right

Via highway A4 (coming from the north)
Follow the A4 in direction Europoort. After the Beneluxtunnel: follow the right lane and
take side-way 17. At the traffic lights: turn to the right. At the next traffic lights, turn
to the left. This is the Vondelingenweg. Follow the right lane and drive over the flyover.
At the traffic lights turn to the right (Petroleumweg). After about 100 metres you
will find the entrance to the parking place on your left hand side. The high building with
the pecten is the Central Office.
