Welcome to the 11th Annual Rx Mixer, Rewind: Back to the 80s, benefiting the IACP Foundation! On behalf 

of the entire IACP Foundation Board and Rx Mixer Committee, thank you for your commitment, time and 

effort to support the only foundation established to benefit pharmacy compounding. 

As we gather again with our colleagues and friends, we want to emphasize that Rx Mixer is much more 

than a fun party. This event is one of the primary ways we have to fund a vitally important mission – to 

support the quality, integrity, and advancement of pharmacy compounding and its practitioners for the 

benefit of patients.

The IACP Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational foundation and serves as the charitable extension 

of IACP with a mission to fund research and educational initiatives to advance the art and science of 

pharmacy compounding. 

Each year, the IACP Foundation’s activities include: 

n Funding innovative programs and research initiatives that enhance the quality, safety, responsiveness, 

and credibility of pharmacy compounding; 

n Encouraging curricular endorsement of the fundamental proficiencies essential to compounding 

pharmacists through alliances with educational institutions and accreditation bodies; and 

n Sponsoring public education programs that aspire to acquaint health care professionals and the public 

with the services and issues related to pharmacy compounding. 

This year’s total Rx Mixer fundraising goal is $200,000. We need your help to achieve this milestone! 

Your support and involvement is crucial in raising funds for the IACP Foundation so that we can continue 

the good works we started more than 10 years ago. Since 2005, the IACP Foundation has awarded more 

than $275,000 for studies researching compounded preparation potency and stability and outcomes of 

treatment with compounded medications. Your generous contributions enable us to continue funding 

these projects.

80s— the theme for IACP Foundation’s 11th Annual Rx Mixer, a 

fundraising event to be held in conjunction with IACP’s 21st Annual 

Compounders on Capitol Hill (CCH)!! Event Co-Chairs, Erin Michael,

The IACP Foundation’s Fund-the-Future program raises monies to bring pharmacy students to 

the one of the most important events in pharmacy compounding – Compounders on Capitol Hill. 

This year, our Fund-the-Future goal is $25,000!

By helping us reach this goal, you will provide 10 lucky pharmacy students with a 

scholarship to attend Compounders on Capitol Hill 2016, being held in Washington, D.C. 

Scholarships, valued up to $2,500 each, will cover the following expenses:

A bid number will be assigned to each person upon arrival. 

A signature or a bid number is a legal contract to purchase an item. Group purchases are welcome, but one 

person (the individual whose number appears on the bid sheet or the individual who raises his or her bid number) 

will be responsible for bidding and payment. 

All Sales are Final. No exchanges or refunds on auction items are permitted except where specified. Everything

To enter a bid, a bidder raises his/her bid number, directing 

the signal to the auctioneer. 

The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be 

the buyer. In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer will have 

the sole and final discretion to determine the successful 

bidder or to re-offer and resell the item in dispute. 

Each successful bid will be recorded by a runner to be paid 

at the winning bidder’s table or it can be paid at the end of 

the evening.
