2 nd Annual Essentials in Primary Care Fall Conference Friday, November 11, 2011 Linagliptin – Tradjenta • There have been no clinical studies establishing conclusive evidence of macrovascular or microvascular risk reduction with linagliptin • Linagliptin has not been studied in combination with insulin • Linagliptin is an alternative to sitagliptin and saxagliptin for the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes and it does not need a dosage reduction in patients with renal dysfunction.
