when available. That means y’all can stay on yer site til 5:00 PM (rental units, 3:00 PM) on your departure<br />

day fer FREE. And if yer site is not available, then jus’ park in our corral. Jus’ remember to request yer FREE<br />

“Late Stay” when makin’ yer reservations.<br />

4. A LIL’ PEACE & QUIET...No<br />

welcome overnight campers on a first-come/first-serve basis. Please be considerate of your neighbors <strong>and</strong> plan to arrive before 11:00 PM (quiet time).<br />

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is 11:30 AM for Campsites <strong>and</strong> 10:00 AM for Vacation Rental Trailers <strong>and</strong> Cabins.<br />

RESERVATION DEPOSIT: A Reservation Deposit of $75 per week per Campsite ($25 for spring or fall) is required within 7 days of making reservations. Vacation rentals require a<br />

deposit of $250 per week (1 night’s rate spring or fall). Balance is due upon arrival. Checks only accepted 30 days in advance for campsites or 60 days in advance for rental trailers<br />

<strong>and</strong> cabins.<br />

FUTURE RESERVATIONS: Reservations may be made one to two years in advance. A one week minimum is required.<br />

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancelling or shortening a PEAK SEASON reservation must be done at least 30 days prior to the arrival date for campsites <strong>and</strong> 60 days prior for rental<br />

trailers <strong>and</strong> cabins or deposits will be forfeited (7 days prior for spring <strong>and</strong> fall).<br />

NO SHOWS: No Shows will be cancelled the day after the scheduled arrival date, after 4:00PM, unless guest has contacted reservations to hold the site.<br />

SECURITY DEPOSIT: Vacation Rental Trailers <strong>and</strong> Cabins require a $50 security deposit at check-in. The security deposit will be refunded when the key is returned. Lost key fee is<br />

$35.00.<br />

MINIMUM STAYS: Advance reservations during peak season must be for a period of 3 nights or more. Holidays (Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th <strong>and</strong> Labor Day Weekend) require a<br />

3-night minimum stay. Vacation Rental Trailers <strong>and</strong> Cabins require a 2 night minimum in spring <strong>and</strong> fall <strong>and</strong> one week minimum during peak season.<br />

MAXIMUM PEOPLE PER SITE, RENTAL TRAILER OR CABIN: The maximum number of people per site is 6.<br />

GUESTS: Guests (additional campers) are not permitted entry after midnight. Fees are $12 per person Memorial Day – Labor Day <strong>and</strong> $6 per person at all other times.<br />

VISITORS: Visits of less than one hour are FREE. Over one hour $6 per person. Visitors are not given free admission or discounts to the Water Park or Western Theme Park.<br />

GROUP TENT AREAS: One tent <strong>and</strong> one vehicle permitted per site. At least 10 feet must be maintained between tents. Picnic tables or fire rings are not provided. No guests are<br />

permitted. Pets are not permitted in Group Tent Areas.<br />

SHUTTLE BUS: The Shuttle Bus runs daily from mid-June through Labor Day. It runs SATURDAY ONLY DURING THE OFF-SEASONS (extra runs during Springfest <strong>and</strong> Sunfest). Riders<br />

under 14 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.<br />

VEHICLES: Basic rate entitles campers to park one vehicle on site. One extra vehicle may be parked per site for an additional fee of $2.00 per night. Extra vehicles are not allowed<br />

in group tent areas. Please display vehicle pass at all times on rear-view mirror. Turn pass in to office when checking out. SPEED LIMIT IS 13 ½ MILES PER HOUR THROUGHOUT THE<br />

CAMPGROUND. All vehicles, including golf carts, mopeds <strong>and</strong> motorcycles must be operated by folks with a valid driver’s license. THE ONLY 4 WHEELED VEHICLES ALLOWED ARE<br />

BOATS, BOAT TRAILERS, UTILITY TRAILERS: Boats, boat trailers <strong>and</strong> utility trailers are permitted on campsites but will be counted as the extra vehicle for an additional fee of $2.00<br />

per night. If there is already a 2nd vehicle on the campsite, they must be placed in storage or designated overflow area.<br />

PETS: WE LOVE PETS...However, all pets must wear current <strong>and</strong> valid rabies tags, be leashed, cleaned up after, attended to at all times <strong>and</strong> not be vicious or exotic. Sorry, pets are<br />

not allowed in vacation rentals except for designated “Pet Friendly” units. Pets may not be left unattended at any time. Excessive barking is not permitted. Pets are not permitted<br />

in Group Tent areas.<br />

BICYCLES: DON’T FORGET YOUR BIKE HELMET! Maryl<strong>and</strong> State Law requires that children under 16 years of age wear a helmet while riding a bicycle. Bicycle riding is not allowed in<br />

the campground after sunset. Remember: bicycle riders must obey the same rules of the road as a motor vehicle.<br />

DISTURBIN’ THE PEACE: Quiet time is from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please, no loud talkin’, loud radios, loud televisions or other noise between these hours. Please, no roamin’ in the<br />

campground after midnight. Please do not cut through other’s campsites. The use of generators is prohibited.<br />

CAMPSITES: Only one main camping unit <strong>and</strong> one family per site is allowed. A small two-man pup tent may also be set up for minor children only. Camping units must be separated<br />

from each other by a minimum of ten feet. Although we try our best to honor site requests, we reserve the right to change site assignments.<br />

CAMPFIRES: Campfires are permitted from 8:00 AM to midnight. Please never leave a fire unattended.<br />

PICNIC TABLES & FIRE RINGS: One picnic table <strong>and</strong> one fire ring per site. Please do not move picnic tables or fire rings from your campsite or another’s campsite. Please inform the<br />

Camp Store or Front Desk if you need a picnic table or fire ring. Picnic table <strong>and</strong> fire rings are not provided in group tent areas.<br />

LOST & FOUND: Located at the Front Desk. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Ocean City Lost & Found: 410-723-6611.<br />

INSECT CONTROL: Spraying for mosquitoes is conducted by Worcester County, Maryl<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> is done on the maximum number of days that the county allows when necessary.<br />

Spraying is done between 2:00 AM <strong>and</strong> 7:00 AM. Any questions regarding spraying should be directed to Worcester County Mosquito Control.<br />

SEWER HOOKUPS: Sewer hoses must be undamaged <strong>and</strong> must not be inserted into the sewer more than 6 inches. Due to Maryl<strong>and</strong> State Health Regulations, all sewer hookups must<br />

be airtight <strong>and</strong> watertight. Sewer donuts are available at the camp store.<br />

WASTE WATER: Maryl<strong>and</strong> State Law prohibits the discharge of any waste water (septic or gray water) onto the ground. Violators may be subject to a fine <strong>and</strong> possible eviction.<br />

Formaldehyde products are not permitted.<br />

FIRE SAFETY: Fire extinguishers are located at the Front Desk, Camp Store, all bathhouses <strong>and</strong> in all Vacation Trailers <strong>and</strong> Campin’ Cabins. Smoke detectors are provided in<br />

all Vacation Trailers <strong>and</strong> Campin’ Cabins. We recommend that smoke detectors be used in all RV’s. All flammable liquids in the campground must be stored in approved safety<br />

containers.<br />

FIREWORKS: Fireworks <strong>and</strong> explosives of any kind are not permitted under any circumstances. Fireworks are illegal in Maryl<strong>and</strong>. Anyone caught with fireworks may be asked to<br />

leave the premises (without a refund). There will be no warnings.<br />

NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN RENTAL TRAILERS, CABINS, BATHHOUSES OR CAMP STORE.<br />

CLOSING DAY: Closing Day 2012 for both campgrounds will be Sunday, November 25. We ask that all campers be out of the campground by 1:00 PM.<br />
