Even before Kareena Kapoor had actually formally
entered the Hindi film industry, there was a
heightened sense of excitement regarding the entry
of this light eyed spark who seemed to be a chip of
the same block. Fortunately for her fans, she came
out from this quicksand by showcasing her talents
in movies like ‘Dev’. As the luminously beautiful and
ill-fated Dolly Mishra, Kareena was subtle, without

performance in ‘Omkara’ for which she received the
Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress.
She portrayed a sex worker in Chameli
(2004), which became the turning point in
her career. She played the female lead in
the romantic comedy Jab We Met (2007)
which earned her the Filmfare Award
for the Best Actress. She also endorses
several brands like Anne French, Airtel,
Citizen Watches, Globus Fashion, Head
and Shoulders, Lavie Handbags and many
more.She has been named as one of the
most desirable female stars as well as

Beautiful Kareena Kapoor captured India’s heart
in one of her most memorable performances as the
impulsive, spunky Geet Dhillon in the 2007’s monster
hit ’Jab We Met’. She received the coveted Filmfare
Award for Best Actress for the same movie. Kareena
has somehow been at the center of controversies, be
it her interactions with her co-stars or even her body
size. When she went on a new fitness regime, people
were soon discussing the ‘size zero’ in various forums;
there were some who were passionately in its favor
and some who totally trashed it and there were even

the shoot of Gabbar Is Back with Akshay Kumar in
the main lead which has been directed by Krrish.
The movie has been slated for release on May 1st.
She is currently shooting for Salman Khan’s Bajrangi
Bhaijaan in the direction of Kabir Khan. She has also
signed two new movies Brothers with Akshay Kumar
and Siddarth Malhotra in the main leads and Udta
Punjab with Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the main
