Her initial films did not
do well and she faced
many troubles initially
however Shruti has
opted out to struggle and bounce
back without the support of her
dad which made her sit on the
top today. She has tested her
luck in Bollywood, Tollywood and
Kollywood but she could not taste
the success.
Then came an opportunity with
Powerstar Pawan Kalyan for the
movie Gabbar singh which has been
the game changer and the movie
gave her the much needed break.
Post Gabbar Singh, Shruti has
hardly time for anything other than
cinema. She is multi talented and is
a great multitasker. Shruti has also
persisted her stint in music, a career
in music direction beginning with
her father’s production Unnaipol
Oruvan and her own music band
and album.She has scored back to
back hits in Telugu and Tamil. She
has been signing films in Telugu,
Tamil and Hindi. Shruti is currently
shooting for more than half a dozen
movies. Along with these Shruti has
been shaking leg with all the lead
actors in item numbers.
She is currently shooting for
Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu in
Telugu in the direction of Koratala
Siva which is in final stages of
shoot and will release in July. She
is also shooting for Vijay’s Puli as
the second female lead which will
release in June this year. Shruti has
recently wrapped up the shoot of
her Bollywood projects Gabbar
Is Back with Akshay Kumar and
Welcome Back opposite to John
Abraham.
She has signed many new projects
in all the languages and Shruti is the
highest paid South Indian actress
currently. As she was unable to
allocate her dates, Shruti walked
out of Nagarjuna and Karthi
untitled project which became a
huge sensation. As per the latest
update, she has signed a movie
with Thala Ajith in the direction of
Shiva. She will soon pair up with
Bollywood’s young Superstar
Ranbir Kapoor in the direction of
Ayan Mukerji. Shruti has signed two
more Bollywood projects Rocky
Handsome with John Abraham and
Yaara with Vidyut Jamwal in the
main lead.
Talking about marriage Shruti said,
“Yes, I wish to marry, but
I don’t know when. The
person I get married has to
be kind, which is difficult
you find the ones who
smell good, talk well, look
nice and the ones who
win their awards, but at
the end of the day, it boils
down to someone who
can make you laugh and is
kind. But he also needs to
have that fighting spirit in
life. He could be a doctor
or anything else, but needs
to be talented at whatever
he does.”

direction of critically acclaimed R
Balki. Shruti has been the 4th most
Desirable Woman for the year
2014. Not much into controversies,
Shruti is quite professional
and passionate for movies. Her
upcoming movie Gabbar Is Back
with Akshay Kumar and Kareena
Kapoor is releasing on May 1st
and the movie is a remake of Tamil
movie Ramana starring Vijay Kanth.
Gabbar Is Back has been helmed by
Krrish, a talented Telugu director.
