Adds New Location!
Now three sites for
you to learn Scripture!
The acclaimed Biblical Institute of the Diocese of Joliet is
expanding this fall, opening a new site at Saints Peter and
Paul Parish (in Naperville). The two current sites, at Notre
Dame Parish (in Clarendon Hills) and St. Jude Parish (in
New Lenox), are also welcoming new students. If you
want to learn Scripture in a truly engaging manner, with a
teacher and from a solidly Catholic perspective, the Biblical
Institute promises you an enriching experience!

People in our community are in crisis in record numbers. At
Catholic Charities the requests for food and rental
assistance are never-ending. For many, unemployment
benefits have been exhausted and the underemployed,
who were once working in professional jobs, are now
earning minimum wage and are unable to make ends
meet. Seniors who have worked all of their lives now have
to choose between paying their utility bills and buying
groceries. These people need your help now.
Will you be an angel to someone in need? For

Catholic Charities, two anonymous “angels” will
match it–dollar for dollar–up to $60,000!

CATHOLIC CHARITIES RENT/MORTGAGE
ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE
Catholic Charities’ Daybreak Center currently has funds
available for Rent/Mortgage Assistance. Rent/Mortgage
Packets can be picked up at Daybreak Center, 611 E. Cass
St. in Joliet, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Catholic
Charities also provides assistance with Emergency
Services, including food boxes, food vouchers, vouchers
for clothing, furniture, housewares and hygiene items,
prescription and identification assistance as funds are
available. Call 815-774-4663 for more information. Closed

PRAYER FOR THE SPREAD
OF PERPETUAL ADORATION
Heavenly Father, increase our faith in the Real
Presence of Your Son Jesus Christ in the Holy
Eucharist. We are obliged to adore Him, to give
Him thanks and to make reparations for our sins.
We need Your peace in our hearts and among
nations. We need conversion from our sins and
the mercy of Your forgiveness. May we obtain
this through prayer and our union with our
Eucharistic Lord. Please send down the Holy
Spirit upon all people to give them the strength
and willingness to respond to the invitation to
Eucharistic Adoration. We ask this in the name of
Jesus our Lord. Amen.
