T
HERE ARE MANY PEOPLE
IN OUR PARISH WHOM
I WANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE
FOR THEIR HELP WITH OUR
RCIA PROGRAM. We are a faith
community that graciously and generously shared our
individual faith journeys with those who sought to join us as
Catholics. Together we walked on the journey to the Lord. We shared our
love for our Catholic faith as we helped others come to know and love the Lord in a
uniquely Catholic way.
I WANT TO PUBLICLY ACKNOWLEDGE THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO HELPED ME prepare
the seven individuals who we welcomed into our St. Anthony Community of Faith at this
year’s Easter Vigil:
Deacon Don Berkey, Deacon Don Higgins, Deacon Tony Schlott, Deacon Dan Danahey,
Deacon Joe Johnson, Sophie Follenweider, Jan & Wally Gorczowski, Bill Kenny & Mike Guzy.
▪ Father Greg who presided over a beautiful Teaching Mass that introduced the class to the
weekly celebration of the Eucharist—the heart and soul of our Catholic Faith.
▪ Wayne Luff, Colleen Mora and Barb Boucek for taking pictures of the RCIA class and various
RCIA events held throughout the year.
atrium of our church.
▪ Jeanne Gayton who helped secure meeting places for our class and church times for our
various RCIA events.
Vigil Reception hosted by Father Greg in the rectory.
▪ Special thanks to our pastor, Father Greg, who worked behind the scenes with me on many
aspects of the RCIA program and hosted two wonderful dinner receptions for our RCIA class
and their families.
▪ And finally to my wife, Barb, who is always there to give me help, support and suggestions
to help make our RCIA program run smoothly.
M
AY GOD BLESS ALL OF THOSE WHO HELPED ME SHEPHERD THIS year’s RCIA class into
our St. Anthony Community of Faith. Please forgive me if I have inadvertently
forgotten to mention anyone who helped me this year with RCIA. As you can see
from the number of people listed, RCIA is not a one-man show but a community of believers
dedicated to spreading the Faith.
Thanks and God Bless All of You!
