From these overviews of datasources and available data it becomes clear that besides data from
Eurostat, data from many other data sources is required for the construction of the transport
chain freight O/D matrix.
Since the data collection is a very time consuming process, there are still negotiations going on
about the conditions of the data delivery. The data collection process will therefore continue
after the test phase has finished. For the test phase enough data had been collected in order to be
able to test the different methods.
