BM Bonaza on the Go<br />
BM Bonaza, a 105,614 dwt tanker owned by Doun<br />
Kisen Co. <strong>Ltd</strong> (Japan), was ushered into the docks<br />
of <strong>Jurong</strong> <strong>Shipyard</strong> as soon as she arrived in July<br />
<strong>2012</strong>.<br />
The repair package for the 239.0m x 42.03m x 21.30m BM<br />
Bonaza included engine room piping renewal, installation<br />
of pressure sensors for cargo oil tanks and slop tanks,<br />
overhaul of pressure/vacuum valves as well as inspection<br />
on main engine bearings. Decked out with fresh paint after<br />
hull blasting works, the vessel departed the yard in July.<br />
Nueva Esperanza<br />
Rising<br />
<strong>Jurong</strong> <strong>Shipyard</strong> welcomed back the 50,900 dwt<br />
Nueva Esperanza as she docked at the yard between<br />
June and July <strong>2012</strong>, following her last visit in 2007.<br />

Apart from routine repairs on the 189.99m x 32.26m x<br />
16.67m bulk carrier owned by Fafalios Shipping SA, the<br />
yard team also installed outfittings and a new Marine Gas Oil<br />
tank, overhauled pumps and motors as well as performed<br />
cargo hold blasting and painting.<br />
Renewing Reference<br />
Point<br />
<strong>Jurong</strong> <strong>Shipyard</strong> took care of the 48,980 dwt<br />
Reference Point, a LPG tanker owned by Petredec<br />
Services, when she visited the yard in the month of<br />
July <strong>2012</strong> for repair and maintenance works.<br />
Powering MOL Komati<br />
<strong>Jurong</strong> <strong>Shipyard</strong> hosted MOL Komati, a 1,794<br />
TEU containership belonging to Bernhard Schulte<br />
Shipmanagement (China), during her short stay in<br />
<strong>Aug</strong>ust <strong>2012</strong>.<br />
Measuring 179.72m x 27.65m x 15.90m, the vessel underwent<br />
routine underwater and engine room repairs followed by<br />
motor overhaul prior to her departure in the same month.<br />
<br />
Adding finishing touches.<br />
As part of the repair operation, the tanker, which measures<br />
230.0m x 36.64m x 20.40m, went through major steelworks<br />
on her tanks, funnel deck and chain lockers. All mounting and<br />
safety valves were overhauled while the main deck outfitting<br />
jobs were carried out. The vessel also received shipside grit<br />
blasting before resuming her course in <strong>Aug</strong>ust.<br />
