Assignment procedure (as used by MKmetric) should not base just on shortest path algorithm, as in reality usually several possible<br />
routings exist to travel from one region to another. There might be more than one possible starting airport as well as more than one<br />
destination airport. In addition different transfer airports are possible and chosen by the consumers. E. g. for travelling from<br />
Southwest Germany to the Scottish Highlands different routing can be taken into account, like FRAEDI, FRAMANINV, FRA<br />
BHXINV, FRAAMSABZ, STRFRAEDI, STRCDGABZ, SXBLGWINV, ...<br />
